The Easyfit Sensor consists of the sensor body (upper part) which mounts to the engine or chassis using a 6mm bolt. This part contains a reed switch and polymer bearing. 

The lower part which contains the magnet, is made of stainless ground steel bar and threaded bar. This is mounted to the gear lever through a 6mm rose joint which can be polymer or steel.
