Control Box detects when either upshift or downshift is about to happen (via sensor, see below) then cuts the ignition/fuel injectors or blips the throttle. For these cars the throttle is blipped purely by electronics as the Nissan 350z has 'fly by wire' throttle control. Ignition/injector + throttle blips durations are fully adjustable (using programme button) in 10 milli-second intervals. |
