Rapidshift Quickshifter with link rod pressure sensor:-
£245
This Quickshfter kit (aka Flatshifter) has a hall effect link rod pressure sensor which can be easily swapped between push or pull mode within minutes. Hall effect gives superior contact-less solid state sensing with no moving parts to increase accuracy and reliability.
After receiving your order I would contact you with questions relating to your present link rod (eg. rod length and thread types) to enable me to make up your bolt on link rod sensor which would replace your original link rod. This doesn't have to be a lengthy process and we can often have the Rapidshifter in the post on the same day as receiving the link rod details (depending on workload)
For installation instructions email me at Info@racegadgets.com

Photos & installation notes..
Installation of the link rod sensor is just a case of measuring the gap between the lock nuts on the original link rod then assembling the new pressure sensor link rod and rod ends to the same length. Even fits very short link rods as per the Yamaha Diversion above.
Don’t let the relatively low price fool you into thinking that this is a low quality product - View our excellent feedback comments on Ebay from many happy customers.
The Rapid-Shift has evolved over 2 decades into a simple, high quality, reliable and affordable Quickshifter. It has been regularly tried and tested in the toughest environments including moto-cross, supermoto, car, kart and road racing including WSB/BSB/Isle of Man TT.
Rapid-Shift requires no special tools or extra set-up/calibration devices and can easily be fitted in your garage/shed/street etc. It is not affected by water and sensor/kill time settings won't drift with temperature variations.
The Rapid-Shift control box contains an 8 pin micro-controller with minimum components on a single sided printed circuit board encapsulated in a tough waterproof epoxy resin potting compound. The relays controlling the ignition or fuel injection coils are high spec, high current and unaffected by the level of vibration and G forces involved in motor-sports.

If you’re not familiar with Quickshifters, they allow faster, full throttle, clutch-less gear changes resulting in increased acceleration, better corner stability and reduced lap times.I've never checked but I should imagine you would rarely see a race bike at National or International level without one. This fact alone speaks volumes as these professional teamswouldn't add anything which didn't give measurable benefits.
How It Works:- The control box is constantly watching the sensor (every 1000th of a second) to detect the position or pressure of the gear lever when the gears are about to be separated (gearbox selector drum starts turning). The control box then cuts either the ignition or fuel injection and starts the kill time. This can be adjusted from 55 to 85 milliseconds (1000th of a second = 1 millisecond). When the kill time is over and the next gear selected, the engine power is restored and the control box carries on monitoring the sensor making sure the lever has returned before allowing the next shift.
